Product Description

Simpson CI-PO Paste-Over and Structural Repair Epoxy from Simpson Strong-Tie is a fast-curing, two-component, high-modulus, high-solids, moisture-tolerant, thixotropic epoxy formulated for securing injection ports at the concrete surface prior to injection repair, as well as for general structural concrete repair applications. Its gel-viscosity consistency holds in place without sagging, making it equally effective on vertical and overhead surfaces, while its NSF-listed formulation confirms it is safe for potable water applications. This 3-gallon bulk kit includes two 1-gallon cans of Component A and one 1-gallon can of Component B, and is compatible with both standard Crack Injection dispensing tools and metered pressure-injection equipment for flexible, professional-grade use on the jobsite.

Key Features

  • Chemically bonds with concrete for structural repair - delivers a true load-bearing fix, not just a cosmetic surface patch, so repaired cracks regain structural integrity.
  • Gel-viscosity, moisture-tolerant formulation - adheres reliably to both dry and damp concrete surfaces, eliminating the need to wait for full surface drying before beginning repairs.
  • Non-shrink formula - maintains consistent volume as it cures, preventing voids or gaps that could compromise the repair over time.
  • Freeze-thaw resistant - retains performance through repeated temperature cycling, making it suitable for exterior and cold-climate concrete repair applications.
  • Dispenses with standard Crack Injection (CI) dispensing tools - works with existing equipment most concrete repair professionals already own, reducing the need for additional tool investment.
  • Compatible with metered pressure-injection equipment - supports high-volume bulk dispense workflows, saving time on larger commercial or infrastructure repair projects.
  • Meets ASTM C881 and AASHTO M235 standards - independently verified compliance (Type I, Grade 3, Class B and Type I/IV, Grade 3, Class C) gives specifiers and inspectors the documentation they need for regulated projects.
  • NSF-listed safe for potable water - qualified for use in water-contact applications, expanding the range of environments where this epoxy can be specified with confidence.

Why This Product

  • One epoxy, multiple critical roles - the CI-PO handles port-securing, crack paste-over, and structural concrete repair in a single product, streamlining procurement and reducing the number of materials crews need to manage on the job.
  • Works when surfaces aren't perfectly dry - the moisture-tolerant, gel-viscosity design means repairs don't have to be delayed for surface conditions to improve, keeping projects on schedule even in humid or damp environments.
  • Built for verified, regulated applications - dual compliance with ASTM C881 and AASHTO M235 along with NSF potable water listing means the CI-PO can meet specification requirements on municipal, infrastructure, and commercial projects where third-party standards are mandatory.
  • Flexible dispensing for different project scales - compatibility with both standard CI dispensing tools and metered pressure-injection equipment means the same bulk kit can support targeted crack repairs and larger-scale injection repair workflows without switching products.
