The Simpson Strong-Tie MSJC8.25-R15 is a 12-gauge galvanized cold-formed steel (CFS) joist connector engineered for dependable performance across a wide range of structural framing applications. Measuring 2 in. x 4-1/2 in. x 8-1/4 in., this clip has been specifically designed for various CFS joist, rafter, and underside of metal-deck applications. The unique clip dimensions enable easy installation on the open side of joists and rafters with up to 3-1/2 in. flanges and return lips up to 3/4 in. For metal-deck applications, the prepunched 3/8 in. holes easily accommodate 6 in., 8 in., 10 in., and 12 in. on-center metal-deck flutes. This package contains 15 connectors, made in the United States from 97-mil, G90 galvanized steel for lasting corrosion resistance.
