The Simpson Strong-Tie MSJC10.25-R15 is a 12-gauge (97 mil) galvanized steel-joist connector engineered specifically for cold-formed steel (CFS) joist, rafter, and underside-of-metal-deck applications. Measuring 2 in. x 4-1/2 in. x 10-1/4 in., this uniquely dimensioned clip enables easy installation on the open side of joists and rafters with flanges up to 3-1/2 in. and return lips up to 3/4 in. Prepunched 3/8 in. holes eliminate the need for predrilling, reducing installation time and labor cost. For metal-deck applications, those same prepunched holes readily accommodate 6 in., 8 in., 10 in., and 12 in. on-center metal-deck flutes. Finished with a G90 zinc galvanized coating for enhanced corrosion resistance, this connector is made in the United States and sold in a convenient 15-count pack.
