The Simpson Strong-Tie MBHU5.50/18KT MBHU 5-1/2-in. x 18-in. Galvanized Masonry Beam Hanger with Screws/Anchors is a face-mounted connector designed for attaching beams to masonry or concrete walls. This non-welded, one-piece connector is suitable for solid sawn and engineered wood beams as well as trusses, and comes complete with the Titen HD screw anchors and Strong-Drive SDS Heavy-Duty Connector screws needed for installation. Because the Titen HD anchor is installed after the wall is built, locating the anchor in the correct position is easier than with cast-in-place bolts.
