The Simpson Strong-Tie Strong-Bolt 2 Wedge Anchor is a 1 in. x 13 in. zinc-plated carbon steel wedge-type expansion anchor engineered for high-performance fastening in demanding structural applications. Designed by Simpson Strong-Tie, this fully assembled anchor is an optimal choice for use in seismic and high-wind conditions, and is code listed for both cracked and uncracked concrete as well as masonry applications. Its dual undercutting embossments on each clip segment enable secondary expansion should a crack form and intersect the anchor location, significantly increasing the anchor's ability to carry load even if the hole expands.
