Simpson RFB#5X8 RFB 5/8 in. x 8 in. Zinc-Plated Retrofit Bolt, Grade 36 is a precut threaded rod from Simpson Strong-Tie, supplied with a nut and washer, designed for use with anchoring adhesives to anchor into existing concrete and masonry. Each end of the threaded rod is stamped with the rod length in inches and color-coded to indicate the grade or type of steel for quick and easy identification post-installation. For 1/2 in. diameters and larger, the distinctive No-Equal symbol is also stamped, making this retrofit bolt part of a complete engineered anchoring system when paired with a Simpson Strong-Tie adhesive.
