The Simpson Strong-Tie H8 18-Gauge Galvanized Hurricane Tie is an 18-gauge steel connector engineered to resist high winds and seismic forces by positively connecting trusses and rafters to the top of a wall structure. Finished with a G90 zinc galvanized coating for enhanced corrosion resistance, the H8 is equally effective with solid-sawn and engineered lumber across a wide range of framing applications.
