The DeWalt DCB118 charger is an 8-amp, fan-cooled fast charger. The "20/60V" designation means it is universally compatible with both 20V MAX and 20V/60V MAX FLEXVOLT batteries. It detects the attached battery and adjusts its output to charge the pack safely and quickly.

- 20V MAX Batteries: These are DeWalt’s standard cordless tool batteries. The DCB118 charges them at a 4-amp or 8-amp rate (depending on battery capacity) to minimize downtime.
- 20/60V FLEXVOLT Batteries: These are unique, high-capacity batteries. Internally, they consist of multiple battery cells.
- When inserted into a standard 20V tool, the cells connect in parallel to provide 20V.
- When inserted into a 60V tool, the cells connect in series to provide 60V for heavy-duty power.
- How the Charger Handles Them: Because DeWalt's Flexvolt system "steps down" to 20V when charging, the DCB118 simply treats the Flexvolt battery as a massive 20V battery to replenish it.

Freight shipping Policy:
Orders/Items too large or heavy may require special handling/Shipping and may require to be sent by truck. Someone must be present to accept truck deliveries. Standard truck delivery is to a dock facility designed to receive freight. You will be notified within 24 hours of ordering to confirm delivery. Lift gates for deliveries are available for an additional fee.
