Product Description
The Baileigh TN-700 Tube and Pipe Notcher by Baileigh Industrial is a dedicated notching machine built to free up your vertical mill for other work while delivering precise, repeatable notches for structural fabrication, racing and off-road chassis builds, steam pipe work, and more. Powered by a robust 2 hp motor and driven by an inverter-controlled variable-speed system, the TN-700 balances cutting power with long machine life - making it one of the most capable tube and pipe notchers available for professional shop and field use alike.
Key Features
- Made in the USA - built to demanding American manufacturing standards for long-term reliability.
- 2 hp motor on 115-volt power - runs on standard household current so you can operate it almost anywhere, including in the field.
- Notches up to 60 deg. - handle a wide range of compound angles for complex fabrication work.
- Inverter driven variable speeds - allow for the optimum milling speed that balances cutting power with long machine life and low wear and tear.
- Digital readout for RPM, included - monitor spindle speed at a glance for precise, consistent cuts.
- Included speed chart - helps dial the perfect speed for your cut, taking the guesswork out of setup.
- Highly adjustable vise - adjusts in just about every way possible, featuring X- and Y-axis control to ensure a good cutting position for virtually any workpiece.
- Degree/angle-finder - makes it simple to check the angle and ensure repeatability from cut to cut.
- Cam lock for traditional notching - enables you to set your degrees; just move it in either direction to angle the notch for a quick, traditional setup.
- Heavy-duty cast iron framework - reduces vibration, prolongs machine life, and delivers more accurate results over years of hard use.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What is the maximum notch angle the TN-700 can achieve?
- The TN-700 notches up to 60 deg., giving fabricators the flexibility to cut a wide range of compound angles for complex tube and pipe joints.
- What power supply does the TN-700 require?
- The TN-700 runs on standard 115-volt power via its 2 hp motor, which means you can operate it almost anywhere, including in the field - no special high-voltage wiring required.
- How do I know I am running the machine at the right speed for my material?
- The TN-700 includes both a digital RPM readout and an included speed chart that helps you dial the perfect speed for your cut. The inverter driven variable speed system lets you fine-tune the milling speed to balance cutting power with long machine life and low wear and tear.
- Can I use smaller end mills with the TN-700?
- Yes. To use end mills smaller than 1.25", a spacer sleeve is included with the machine. Note that end mills themselves do not come with the TN-700 and must be sourced separately.
Note: End mill not included with the machine. To use end mills smaller than 1.25", use the included spacer sleeve. An optional rolling stand is available separately.

FREIGHT SHIPMENTS
It is important to assess the product being shipped against your location and material-handling capabilities.
Please be aware that your location needs to be prepared to properly handle and sign for freight shipments. You need to have access to a dock location, a forklift or the ability to unload the product from the freight carrier's trailer.
If your location does not have a traditional loading dock or forklift to unload your LTL freight out of the trailer, a Lift gate service will be required. There will be an additional charge for the service. It varies by carrier and even by market with different carriers. It often depends on the supply and demand of lift gate equipped trucks in your area.
Some machines require Flatbed shipping. There will be an additional charge for this service. Flatbed shipping is for the transportation of cargo that cannot be loaded or unloaded from a dock, or does not fit within the dimensions of standard truck trailers. A flatbed’s design allows for cranes and forklifts to load goods from all angles.
If a shipment is too heavy or the footprint (i.e., panel saws, metalworking lathes, mill/drills) is too large to ship via small parcel carrier (USPS, UPS or FedEx), it is shipped via a freight carrier. Freight shipments are considered tail gate deliveries, meaning that the driver is only responsible for moving the shipment to the rear of the trailer and will not assist with unloading.
For non-commercial deliveries, the freight carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery window and confirm if lift gate services are required. If lift gate service is requested, the driver is responsible for lowering the product to the ground during delivery. Freight shipments delivered to a residential location are considered curb side deliveries, meaning the driver will make the delivery in the street at the end of the customer’s driveway. Freight Carriers are not required to enter driveways to make residential deliveries due to liability and safety issues.
Although most deliveries go smoothly, sometimes there are exceptions beyond our control. Machines weighing over 2,000 pounds, bulky and oversized machines with a large footprint may not be able to be delivered via a lift gate for risk of injury or damage to the machine. There are also inaccessible remote, residential or high density urban areas that freight carriers cannot safely access. If encountered, such shipments are available for dock delivery or will be required to be picked up from the carrier’s terminal.
