The Simpson HHRC42 HHRC Galvanized Hip-Ridge Face-Mount Connector by Simpson Strong-Tie is engineered to securely attach hip beams to the end of a ridge beam. This connector eliminates the inconsistency of this common roofing detail by assigning a standard load capacity, and it can be positioned higher or lower on the ridge beam so that the hips sit flush at the top - delivering both structural reliability and precision alignment on every installation.
