The Simpson EPB44HDGMB EPB Hot-Dip Galvanized Elevated Post Base for 4x4 (50-Qty) by Simpson Strong-Tie is a cast-in-place post and column base engineered to secure the bottom of 4x4 posts or columns to concrete - making it an ideal solution for decks, patio covers, and similar top-supported structures. The hot-dip galvanized finish delivers superior corrosion resistance for exterior and treated-wood applications, while the adjustable standoff design provides the code-required 1 in. clearance above concrete to help prevent rot at the post end.
