Designed for a triple 2x beam and 6x post, the ECCQ features an extended bearing seat that projects beyond the side of the column, distributing load from the beam across a greater surface area for superior support. Unlike standard through-bolt configurations, this column cap uses Strong-Drive SDS Heavy-Duty Connector screws for fast installation and attachment to a greater net section area of the column - all while maintaining a lower connection profile. Simpson Strong-Tie column caps come in a variety of sizes to accommodate any project, generally eliminating the need for additional brackets or braces.
