The Simpson Strong-Tie Strong-Bolt 2 Wedge Anchor (5/8 in. x 10 in.) - Model STB2-62100F10 is a wedge-type expansion anchor engineered for high performance in the most demanding structural conditions, including seismic and high-wind environments. Built from zinc-plated carbon steel, this anchor features dual undercutting embossments on each clip segment that enable secondary expansion should a crack form and intersect the anchor location - significantly increasing the anchor's ability to carry load even if the hole expands. The chamfered top prevents mushrooming during installation, and the anchor is qualified for static and seismic loading across all seismic design categories A through F.
