Product Description

The Simpson Strong-Tie CC77 Column Cap is engineered to deliver strong, reliable column-to-beam connections in wood construction. Designed for 6-3/4 in. beams and 6-3/4 in. posts, the CC77 features a heavy-duty seat that provides additional bearing surface area extending beyond each side of the column. This extended seat works to effectively distribute the load transferred from the beam, providing critical structural support at the connection point. Manufactured from robust 3-gauge steel with a Simpson Strong-Tie gray paint finish and assembled with certified welds, the CC77 is built to perform in demanding structural applications, including those subject to seismic or high-wind loading conditions. Made in the United States.
