Installation Guidelines
- Use all specified fasteners - (2) 5/8" bolts as required.
- Allowable loads have been increased 60% for wind or earthquake loading. No further increase allowed; reduce where other loads govern.
- Minimum side cover for full loads is 3" for CB models.
- Install all models with bottom of base plate flush with concrete.
- Post bases do not provide adequate resistance to prevent members from rotating about the base and therefore are not recommended for non top-supported installations (such as fences or unsupported structures).
