Product Description
The Simpson BA4.75/18 is a top-flange joist hanger engineered for use with double 2-5/16 in. x 18 in. engineered wood and solid sawn lumber members. Designed as a cost-effective, one-piece alternative to welded hangers, the BA series delivers reliable structural support across a wide range of load conditions. This hanger accommodates medium loads with solid sawn lumber and achieves higher load capacities with engineered wood products. The full-height joist flange captures the top chord of the joist to prevent rotation and eliminates the need for web stiffeners, streamlining installation and reducing material costs. Positive-angle nailing (PAN) is featured at minimum nailing to target moderate load conditions, while maximum nailing configurations support heavier loads.
