The Simpson BA3.56/9.25 BA Top-Flange Joist Hanger is engineered for use with both engineered wood products and solid sawn lumber, fitting a nominal joist size of 3-1/2 in. x 9-1/4 in. This versatile top-flange hanger delivers medium load capacity with solid sawn lumber and elevated load capacity when paired with engineered wood. The BA series supports flexible nailing options - minimum nailing with positive-angle nailing (PAN) for moderate load conditions, or maximum nailing to handle higher structural loads. Manufactured in the United States from 12-gauge steel with a G90 zinc galvanized coating, this one-piece hanger offers a cost-effective, corrosion-resistant solution for residential and light commercial framing applications.

Options
- Other widths are available; specify W dimension (the minimum W dimension is 1 9/16").
- For modified hangers, fastener quantity listed in tables may need to increase depending on joist size, skew and slope. All modified hangers are 12 ga.
- Hangers may be modified for slopes and/or skews up to 45 deg.. The top flanges may be sloped as much as 35 deg. and may be open or closed up to 30 deg.. See Modifications and Associated Load Reductions under Specifications

Freight shipping Policy:
Orders/Items too large or heavy may require special handling/Shipping and may require to be sent by truck. Someone must be present to accept truck deliveries. Standard truck delivery is to a dock facility designed to receive freight. You will be notified within 24 hours of ordering to confirm delivery. Lift gates for deliveries are available for an additional fee.
