The Simpson BA3.56/22 BA Top-Flange Joist Hanger is engineered to support 3-1/2 in. x 22 in. engineered wood and solid sawn lumber members with reliable, cost-effective performance. This one-piece, 12-gauge galvanized steel hanger is designed for both medium-load solid sawn lumber applications and higher-load engineered wood product (EWP) installations. The BA series features a full-height joist flange that captures the top chord of the joist, preventing rotation and eliminating the need for web stiffeners. With support for both minimum nailing using positive-angle nailing (PAN) for moderate load conditions and maximum nailing for higher loads, the BA3.56/22 delivers versatile, job-site-ready performance in a single durable component.
