The Simpson Strong-Tie BA310 is a top-flange joist hanger engineered for both solid sawn lumber and engineered wood product applications. Designed as part of the trusted Simpson Strong-Tie BA series, this one-piece 12-gauge galvanized steel hanger delivers reliable performance across a range of load conditions - carrying medium loads with solid sawn lumber and higher loads with engineered wood products. The BA310 features positive-angle nailing (PAN) for minimum nailing configurations that target moderate load conditions, as well as maximum nailing configurations to support higher load demands. Its full-height joist flange captures the top chord of the joist, preventing rotation and eliminating the need for web stiffeners, making it a cost-effective and structurally sound choice for 3x10 framing connections.

Installation Information
- Install with 0.162 in. x 3-1/2 in. nails in the header and 0.148 in. x 1-1/2 in. nails in the joist
- Top-flange design installs over the top chord of the supported member - no web stiffeners required
- One-piece construction simplifies installation compared to welded alternatives
- Other widths are available; specify W dimension (the minimum W dimension is 1 9/16").
- For modified hangers, fastener quantity listed in tables may need to increase depending on joist size, skew and slope. All modified hangers are 12 ga.
- Hangers may be modified for slopes and/or skews up to 45 deg.. The top flanges may be sloped as much as 35 deg. and may be open or closed up to 30 deg.. See Modifications and Associated Load Reductions under Specifications

Freight shipping Policy:
Orders/Items too large or heavy may require special handling/Shipping and may require to be sent by truck. Someone must be present to accept truck deliveries. Standard truck delivery is to a dock facility designed to receive freight. You will be notified within 24 hours of ordering to confirm delivery. Lift gates for deliveries are available for an additional fee.
