The Simpson CCCQM5.50-SDSG Cross Column Cap is an engineered embedded column cap built for raised pier foundations and structural applications where heavy beams bear on concrete or concrete block columns. Constructed from heavy-gauge 7-gauge steel with a Hot Dip Galvanized (HDG) finish, this connector delivers the high uplift and lateral resistance required to help structures withstand high-wind events. The main channel accommodates a primary floor support beam while integrated stirrups on each side of the channel support intermediate beams at 90 deg. angles, making this cap an essential component in demanding structural framing connections.
