The Simpson Strong-Tie CBH 2-3/8 in. x 5-1/2 in. Concealed Glulam Beam Hanger (Model CBH2.37X5.5-R10) is an engineered connector designed for joist-to-beam or joist-to-column applications where concealed hardware, fire-rated performance, and architectural aesthetics are required. Computer modeling and CNC manufacturing enables glulam to be delivered to the jobsite in precise lengths and with preinstalled concealed hangers, and this hanger is specifically designed for such applications. Installed with readily available Strong-Drive SDS Heavy-Duty Connector screws, the CBH has been tested for inter-story drift and has achieved 1-hr and 2-hr fire resistance ratings according to ASTM E119. This pack includes 20 backplates making 10 connections.
