The Simpson CCQ46-SDS2.5HDG CCQ HDG Column Cap for 4x Beam, 6x Post with Strong-Drive SDS Screws by Simpson Strong-Tie is engineered to deliver reliable, high-strength column-to-beam connections in wood construction. The seat of the column cap provides an additional surface area of bearing that extends beyond each side of the column, helping distribute the load from the beam and providing critical support for the connection. Constructed from 7-gauge steel with a hot-dip galvanized finish, this column cap is built for demanding exterior and treated-wood applications. The CCQ uses Strong-Drive SDS Heavy-Duty Connector screws for fast installation and to attach to a greater net section area of the column than a bolt attachment normally entails, generally eliminating the need for additional brackets or braces.

Freight shipping Policy:
Orders/Items too large or heavy may require special handling/Shipping and may require to be sent by truck. Someone must be present to accept truck deliveries. Standard truck delivery is to a dock facility designed to receive freight. You will be notified within 24 hours of ordering to confirm delivery. Lift gates for deliveries are available for an additional fee.
