The Simpson Strong-Tie MBHU5.50/11.25SSKT is a 5-1/2"in. x 11-1/4"in. stainless-steel masonry beam hanger engineered to provide a reliable face-mounted connection between beams and masonry or concrete walls. As a non-welded, one-piece connector, it accommodates solid sawn lumber, engineered wood beams, and trusses alike. Installation hardware is included in the kit - both the Titen HD screw anchors and Strong-Drive SDS Heavy-Duty Connector screws ship with the hanger, streamlining the installation process. Because the Titen HD anchor is installed after the wall is built, locating the anchor in the correct position is significantly easier than with cast-in-place bolts. Constructed from 10-gauge stainless steel, this hanger delivers high/severe corrosion resistance for demanding environments.
