Horizontal Steel Rod Hanger by Simpson Strong-Tie is a one-piece threaded anchor fastening system engineered for suspending 3/8 in. threaded rod in horizontal rod-hanging applications. Designed for installation into the side of steel joists, columns, and overhead members, this self-drilling anchor eliminates the need for predrilling and delivers a reliable attachment point for pipe hanging, fire protection, electrical conduit, and cable-tray systems in dry, interior, non-corrosive environments.
