Designed to carry 3 1/2 in. x 20 in. engineered wood joists, this hanger is the first fire wall hanger built to accept power nailer installation, accelerating the framing phase and helping keep construction schedules on track. Its top-flange configuration leaves room for two layers of 5/8 in. gypsum board to be slipped into place after framing is complete, and the hanger has been tested to ASTM E814 for fire-rated performance on both sides of the wall.
