Designed to carry 3 1/2 in. x 16 in. engineered wood joists, this top-flange hanger is the first fire wall hanger engineered to install with a power nailer, cutting installation time before drywall work begins and helping keep framing schedules on track. Its innovative design accommodates two layers of 5/8 in. gypsum board that slip into place after framing is complete, and it has been tested to ASTM E814 for fire-rated performance on both sides of the wall.
