Built from 97-mil (12-gauge) steel with a G90 zinc galvanized finish for corrosion resistance, the S/HJCT hanger is engineered for shear loads rather than bearing - eliminating the need for web stiffeners and lowering total installation cost. Compatible with CFS headers, wood headers, steel I-beams (via welds or PAT fasteners), and masonry walls, this one-size connector accommodates joists ranging from 8 inches through 14 inches deep. The joist can be attached from either the left or the right side, and each hanger is field skewable up to 45 deg. left or right for maximum layout flexibility.
