The Simpson Strong-Tie MSCB47.5-KT MSCB 7-1/2 in. 14 Gauge Bypass Framing Slide-Clip Connector Kit with Screws is a time-saving, high-performance slide-clip connector engineered specifically for bypass framing applications. Designed to simplify design and detailing while reducing field labor and material costs, the MSCB delivers allowable anchorage loads for connections made with powder-actuated pins, screws, welds, or Simpson Strong-Tie Titen Turbo concrete screws - eliminating the need to separately design connector anchorage. Where designs have traditionally required two parts to accommodate large stand-offs, the MSCB consolidates them into a single connector, and its manufactured range of lengths accommodates a variety of stand-off conditions and steel stud sizes. This kit includes 25 connectors and the required shouldered screws, ready for immediate installation.
