The self-drilling fiber-cement screw is ideal for fastening fiber cement through furring strips to steel studs. These screws are made from Type 410 stainless steel and are coated for additional corrosion protection.
Key Features
- Wafer head, square drive, self-countersinking nibs under the head.
- Threaded to within 5/16" of top of head.
- #3 drill point.
- Compatible driver bit: #2 square drive (model BIT2S-2-R2).
- Type 410 stainless steel is coated for additional corrosion protection.
- Type 410 stainless steel can be hardened through heat treatment, giving it the ability to drill through metal. It does not offer the same level of corrosion resistance of either Type 316 or 305 stainless steel.

Freight shipping Policy:
Orders/Items too large or heavy may require special handling/Shipping and may require to be sent by truck. Someone must be present to accept truck deliveries. Standard truck delivery is to a dock facility designed to receive freight. You will be notified within 24 hours of ordering to confirm delivery. Lift gates for deliveries are available for an additional fee.
