Simpson RFB#5X16HDGP2 RFB 5/8 in. x 16 in. Hot-Dip Galvanized Retrofit Bolt is a precut threaded rod from Simpson Strong-Tie, supplied with a nut and washer, designed for use with anchoring adhesives to anchor into existing concrete and masonry. Engineered to deliver a complete anchoring system when paired with a Simpson Strong-Tie adhesive, this retrofit bolt offers reliable performance for both tension and shear load applications. The hot-dip galvanized finish provides corrosion resistance, and each end of the threaded rod is stamped with the rod length in inches and color-coded to indicate steel grade or type for quick and easy identification post-installation. The distinctive No-Equal symbol is also stamped on 1/2 in. diameter and larger rods.
