The Simpson Strong-Tie MGT Medium Girder Tiedown is a connector designed for moderate-load, two-ply-minimum applications. Built from 12-gauge galvanized steel, this 3-3/4 in. wide girder tie delivers flexible installation options, allowing straps to be installed either vertically or wrapped over the top of the multi-ply truss. The MGT can be bolted directly into CMU or used in combination with a holdown, making it a versatile choice for securing multi-ply roof members to concrete masonry unit construction.
