The Simpson Strong-Tie DGT2.56/22 DGT Top-Flange Fire Wall Hanger is engineered for multifamily, multilevel Type III residential construction. This patent-pending hanger is load tested and fire rated, making it the first fire wall hanger designed to install with a power nailer - saving valuable time before hanging drywall and helping keep construction projects on schedule. The innovative top-flange design accommodates two layers of 5/8-in. gypsum board to be slipped into place after framing is complete, and has been tested according to ASTM E814 for fire-rated performance on both sides of the wall.
