The Simpson Strong-Tie DGHT7.12/24 DGHT Top-Flange Fire Wall Hanger is a patent-pending, load-tested hanger engineered for 7 in. x 24 in. engineered wood joists. Designed for multifamily, multilevel Type III residential construction, this innovative hanger carries a two-hour fire rating and is the first fire wall hanger built to install with a power nailer - saving valuable time before drywall installation and helping keep construction projects on schedule. Tested to ASTM E814, it is fire rated for use on both sides of the wall.
