The Simpson MIU2.56/11 MIU Galvanized Face-Mount I-Joist Hanger by Simpson is engineered for commercial, high-load, and double I-joist applications, accommodating a 2-1/2 in. x 11-7/8 in. engineered wood member without requiring web stiffeners. Constructed from 16-gauge steel with a G90 zinc galvanized finish, this face-mount hanger features positive-angle nailing (PAN) to minimize flange splitting while enabling faster nailing, and speed prongs to temporarily position and secure the connector for easier, more efficient installation.
