Product Description
Baileigh Hydraulic Tube Bender RDB-150 is a professional-grade hydraulic tube and pipe bending machine from Baileigh, engineered for small- to medium-sized fabrication shops that demand precision, durability, and long-term value. The RDB-150 made history in 2002 as the first hydraulic tube bender capable of bending tube and pipe 180 deg. in a single shot, and with thousands of units still performing in the field today, it remains the benchmark against which all similar machines are measured.
Key Features
- Pioneer of the industry: the first hydraulic tube bender to achieve a full 180 deg. bend in one shot, a milestone reached in 2002 that changed fabrication shop capabilities forever
- Original twin-cylinder design - widely imitated but never equaled - delivers consistent hydraulic power and reliable bending performance through years of heavy use
- Handles both round tube and square tube, with a round tube capacity of 2.5 in. at .125 wall and a square capacity of 2 in. at .125 wall
- Minimum OD of 0.25 in. means the RDB-150 can work across a broad range of material sizes in a single machine
- Compatible with simple drop-on tooling from Baileigh - including custom tooling sets available on request - giving operators thousands of bending possibilities without complex setup
- Proven field longevity: thousands of RDB-150 machines remain in active daily use, performing as well as the day they were installed

Frequently Asked Questions
- What makes the Baileigh RDB-150 different from other hydraulic tube benders?
- The RDB-150 introduced the industry's first twin-cylinder hydraulic design capable of bending tube and pipe a full 180 deg. in a single shot when it launched in 2002. That original twin-cylinder design has been widely imitated but remains unequaled in the market, and the thousands of units still working in the field today are a testament to its build quality and reliability.
- What types and sizes of tube and pipe can the RDB-150 bend?
- The RDB-150 handles both round tube and square tube. It has a round tube capacity of 2.5 in. at a .125 wall thickness and a square capacity of 2 in. at a .125 wall thickness. Its minimum OD is 0.25 in., giving fabricators a wide range of material sizes to work with in a single machine.
- Can I use custom or specialty tooling with the RDB-150?
- Yes. The RDB-150 accepts drop-on tooling from Baileigh that is simple to add, and custom tooling sets are available on request. This flexibility opens up thousands of bending possibilities, making the machine adaptable to a wide variety of fabrication projects and applications.
- Is technical support available after purchasing the RDB-150?
- Baileigh provides limitless after-sale support for the RDB-150. Free expert advice on projects and applications is always just a phone call away, ensuring that fabricators can get guidance whenever they need it throughout the life of the machine.

FREIGHT SHIPMENTS
It is important to assess the product being shipped against your location and material-handling capabilities.
Please be aware that your location needs to be prepared to properly handle and sign for freight shipments. You need to have access to a dock location, a forklift or the ability to unload the product from the freight carrier's trailer.
If your location does not have a traditional loading dock or forklift to unload your LTL freight out of the trailer, a Lift gate service will be required. There will be an additional charge for the service. It varies by carrier and even by market with different carriers. It often depends on the supply and demand of lift gate equipped trucks in your area.
Some machines require Flatbed shipping. There will be an additional charge for this service. Flatbed shipping is for the transportation of cargo that cannot be loaded or unloaded from a dock, or does not fit within the dimensions of standard truck trailers. A flatbed’s design allows for cranes and forklifts to load goods from all angles.
If a shipment is too heavy or the footprint (i.e., panel saws, metalworking lathes, mill/drills) is too large to ship via small parcel carrier (USPS, UPS or FedEx), it is shipped via a freight carrier. Freight shipments are considered tail gate deliveries, meaning that the driver is only responsible for moving the shipment to the rear of the trailer and will not assist with unloading.
For non-commercial deliveries, the freight carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery window and confirm if lift gate services are required. If lift gate service is requested, the driver is responsible for lowering the product to the ground during delivery. Freight shipments delivered to a residential location are considered curb side deliveries, meaning the driver will make the delivery in the street at the end of the customer’s driveway. Freight Carriers are not required to enter driveways to make residential deliveries due to liability and safety issues.
Although most deliveries go smoothly, sometimes there are exceptions beyond our control. Machines weighing over 2,000 pounds, bulky and oversized machines with a large footprint may not be able to be delivered via a lift gate for risk of injury or damage to the machine. There are also inaccessible remote, residential or high density urban areas that freight carriers cannot safely access. If encountered, such shipments are available for dock delivery or will be required to be picked up from the carrier’s terminal.
