Product Description
The Baileigh PR-514 Plate Roller is a precision-engineered plate rolling machine designed for small and medium fabrication applications. Built with a rigid steel frame machined to exacting tolerances, the PR-514 delivers consistent, repeatable bends with a 5-foot working width and the capacity to roll 14-gauge mild steel across its full width. Standard features including a digital readout, foot pedal controls, and a dedicated hydraulic motor for the back roll make this machine a highly efficient and operator-friendly choice for shops demanding accuracy and productivity.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What is the maximum material thickness the PR-514 can roll?
- The PR-514 is capable of rolling 14-gauge mild steel (.075 in.) across its full 5-foot working width, ensuring consistent capacity from edge to edge without loss of performance.
- What type of electrical connection does the PR-514 require?
- The PR-514 is powered by a 2 hp, 220-volt single-phase motor, which transfers power directly to the driven rolls. A standard 220-volt single-phase power supply is required for operation.
- How does the digital readout (DRO) help improve productivity?
- The digital readout displays the back roll position in real time, allowing operators to record and repeat precise bend settings easily. The DRO is positioned at the head of the machine, giving you a good line of sight no matter where you're standing, which helps streamline workflow and reduce setup time between parts.
- How is the back roll controlled on the PR-514?
- A dedicated second hydraulic motor controls the movement of the back roll. Operators use the remote control pedestal, which includes foot pedal controls and buttons for advancing or retracting the back roll position, allowing for hands-free adjustments during the rolling process.

FREIGHT SHIPMENTS
It is important to assess the product being shipped against your location and material-handling capabilities.
Please be aware that your location needs to be prepared to properly handle and sign for freight shipments. You need to have access to a dock location, a forklift or the ability to unload the product from the freight carrier's trailer.
If your location does not have a traditional loading dock or forklift to unload your LTL freight out of the trailer, a Lift gate service will be required. There will be an additional charge for the service. It varies by carrier and even by market with different carriers. It often depends on the supply and demand of lift gate equipped trucks in your area.
Some machines require Flatbed shipping. There will be an additional charge for this service. Flatbed shipping is for the transportation of cargo that cannot be loaded or unloaded from a dock, or does not fit within the dimensions of standard truck trailers. A flatbed’s design allows for cranes and forklifts to load goods from all angles.
If a shipment is too heavy or the footprint (i.e., panel saws, metalworking lathes, mill/drills) is too large to ship via small parcel carrier (USPS, UPS or FedEx), it is shipped via a freight carrier. Freight shipments are considered tail gate deliveries, meaning that the driver is only responsible for moving the shipment to the rear of the trailer and will not assist with unloading.
For non-commercial deliveries, the freight carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery window and confirm if lift gate services are required. If lift gate service is requested, the driver is responsible for lowering the product to the ground during delivery. Freight shipments delivered to a residential location are considered curb side deliveries, meaning the driver will make the delivery in the street at the end of the customer’s driveway. Freight Carriers are not required to enter driveways to make residential deliveries due to liability and safety issues.
Although most deliveries go smoothly, sometimes there are exceptions beyond our control. Machines weighing over 2,000 pounds, bulky and oversized machines with a large footprint may not be able to be delivered via a lift gate for risk of injury or damage to the machine. There are also inaccessible remote, residential or high density urban areas that freight carriers cannot safely access. If encountered, such shipments are available for dock delivery or will be required to be picked up from the carrier’s terminal.
