The Simpson Strong-Tie Strong-Bolt 2 Wedge Anchor is a high-performance wedge-type expansion anchor engineered for demanding structural connections in both cracked and uncracked concrete. Measuring 3/4 in. x 8-1/2 in. and constructed from zinc-plated carbon steel, this anchor is an optimal choice for high-performance applications - including seismic and high-wind conditions. Dual undercutting embossments on each clip segment enable secondary expansion should a crack form and intersect the anchor location, significantly increasing the anchor's ability to carry load even if the hole expands.
