Hot-Dip Galvanized Predeflected Holdown with Strong-Drive SDS Screws is a heavy-duty holdown connector from Simpson Strong-Tie, engineered for use in shearwalls, braced-wall panels, and other lateral applications in wood construction. The predeflected body virtually eliminates deflection under load due to material stretch, while the included Strong-Drive SDS Heavy-Duty Connector screws deliver fast installation, reduced fastener slip, and a greater net section area compared to traditional bolts. Hot-dip galvanized for outstanding corrosion resistance, this holdown is built to perform in exterior and treated-wood applications.
