The Simpson Strong-Tie MBHU3.56/18KT is a face-mounted masonry beam hanger designed to connect beams securely to masonry or concrete walls. Engineered as a non-welded, one-piece connector from 10-gauge steel with a G90 galvanized finish, this hanger accommodates solid sawn lumber, engineered wood beams, and trusses with a 3-9/16"in. seat width and 18"in. seat height. Installation is made straightforward because the required Titen HD screw anchors and Strong-Drive SDS Heavy-Duty Connector screws are included in the kit. Because the Titen HD anchor is installed after the wall is built, locating the anchor in the correct position is easier than with cast-in-place bolts.
