The Simpson CCO9 CCO Column Cap (No Legs) for 8-3/4 in. Beam by Simpson Strong-Tie is engineered to deliver robust column-to-beam connections on top of steel columns and posts. Its legless design allows for field-welded attachment to steel columns, while the extended seat provides additional bearing surface area beyond each side of the column - helping to distribute beam loads evenly and strengthen the overall connection.

- Bolt holes shall be a minimum of 1/32" to a maximum of 1/16" larger than the bolt diameter (per 2018 NDS, section 12.1.3.2); bolt holes should be drilled from one side all the way through the beam to maintain hole tolerances

Orders/Items too large or heavy may require special handling/Shipping and may require to be sent by truck. Someone must be present to accept truck deliveries. Standard truck delivery is to a dock facility designed to receive freight. You will be notified within 24 hours of ordering to confirm delivery. Lift gates for deliveries are available for an additional fee.
