Simpson SSTB34 SSTB 7/8 in. x 34-7/8 in. Anchor Bolt is an engineered anchor bolt from Simpson Strong-Tie, purpose-built for maximum performance when anchoring holdowns and Simpson Strong-Tie Strong-Wall shearwalls. Fabricated from ASTM F-1554, Grade 36 uncoated steel and made in the United States, the SSTB34 features a rolled thread for superior tensile capacity and an offset angle design that reduces side bursting while providing greater concrete cover. Extensive testing has been conducted to determine the design load capacity of the SSTB when installed in many common applications, and the series is code listed by ICC-ES under the 2012, 2015, 2018, and 2021 IBC and IRC.
