The Simpson MIT411.88 MIT Galvanized Top-Flange Joist Hanger for 3-1/2 in. x 11-7/8 in. Engineered Wood by Simpson Strong-Tie is engineered to support 90 deg. connections of I-joists to headers, delivering maximum down loads with a minimum number of fasteners. Designed for installation before the joist is placed, this top-flange hanger features a Funnel Flange design for easier member placement and positive-angle nailing (PAN) specifically created for I-joists to minimize splitting - making it a cost-effective alternative to welded hangers in standard structural applications.
