The Simpson Strong-Tie PBV10 Hidden Standoff Post Base for Viga Post is a circular, concealed post base engineered by Simpson Strong-Tie to create a hidden structural connection between 10-inch diameter viga-style posts and concrete. Part of the Simpson Strong-Tie Decorative Hardware line, this pre-engineered and load-rated connector attaches to concrete via threaded rod and epoxy, while securing to the bottom of the viga post with Strong-Drive SDS Heavy-Duty Connector screws. Its round profile blends seamlessly with viga posts while its 1-inch standoff design helps protect the post end from moisture and rot.
