The Simpson DIAST37P1 Setting Tool for 3/8-in. Rod DIA Drop-In Anchor by Simpson Strong-Tie is engineered to properly and consistently install Simpson Strong-Tie Drop-In internally threaded anchors. Drop-ins are set by driving the expander plug toward the bottom of the anchor until the shoulder of the setting tool makes contact with the top of the anchor. Using a fixed-depth drill bit prevents overdrilling, which saves time and prolongs bit life.
