The Simpson DIABST50-SDS SDS-plus Setting Tool for 1/2-in. Rod DIAB Drop-In Anchor by Simpson Strong-Tie is a dedicated power-setting tool engineered for properly and consistently installing Simpson Strong-Tie Drop-In internally threaded anchors. Using this tool, drop-in anchors are installed by driving the expander plug toward the bottom of the anchor until the shoulder of the setting tool makes contact with the top of the anchor, delivering reliable, repeatable results - including in demanding overhead applications.
